Steampunk Escape:
This was a short project I worked on with a small team. It centers around a beast hunter who is tasked with gathering magic shards that are capable of teleporting the remainder of humanity to safety. My role was to design the games narrative, write dialogues, and work on the rigging and animation for some of the character models.
A Small excerpt of the dialogue created:
Scientist: Hello Hunter, you might be wondering why we called you here.
Hunter: I think I have an idea... end of the world stuff right? Same old?
Scientist: Thankfully this is a little more optimistic, but also very pressing. I'll be brief,
you might've felt the magic pulse that went off at the end of the beast rush that you and the guards dealt with correct.
Hunter: Yeah, it was a weird blue light and feeling of shock, what about it?
Scientist: You can think of that pulse as a radar. Do you remember the shards we discussed earlier?
Hunter: The magical "possibly transports the city to a new place without dangerous beasts" shards, how
could I forget?
Scientist: Yeah, so we ran the numbers on that and found that it is possible with 4 shards. That pulse radar was sent out to detect the location of the shards that we need to make the portal work. The locations are on the map.
Hunter: And you want me to go and retrieve them, correct?
Scientist: Excellent deduction Hunter, we can't think of anyone better suited for this job, the sake
humanity rests on your shoulders with this, no pressure or anything.
Hunter: Yeah yeah, let me go drink up some booze and I'll head on out.
